What
Funeral Directors Say About Our Chapel Webcasting Program
“The biggest advantages of going with Webcasting Central is the
reliability and the cost,” says Arnason. “You can try and do it
yourself with a web cam but the quality is not the same. Webcasting
Central’s system is flawless. There is no delay; there are no
cut-outs. It does not stop in the middle or have buffering problems. It
is really a flawless system and when you are talking about something as
important as a funeral service, certainly you don’t want to lose your
connection halfway through the service – that is not the kind of
service you want to offer your client families.”

What Religious
Leaders Say About Our Webcasting Program
“Thank you very much for introducing me to the idea of using
webcasting in order to get our sermons to a wider audience. Since we have
started this project I have had people volunteer to me that they have
availed themselves of the service. I have also had the opportunity to
steer people to our website to view the sermons.
The use of webcasting has great growth potential in this area. It seems
rather counterintuitive, but the largest group of people who watch the
webcasts are older members. A surprisingly large number ( and growing ) of
them are computer literate. For this audience, I see the day when
webcasting will largely replace our cable TV broadcasts which are much
more costly.
I am also interested in drawing a younger audience to our website and
using webcasting to tailor messages to them. These could be more informal
messages with targeted audiences. Our youth ministers would be able to be
a part of spreading the Gospel in this way.
One way that I would like to expand our webcasting in the near future is
by recording Bible studies and other adult education offerings. This would
allow our " viewers " the opportunities to access the materials
at their convenience.
In sum, I envision expanding potential for the use of webcasting as a way
of doing ministry. It's an exciting prospect now. I expect it to be
even more exciting in the future.”
